Daud Not A Playable Character in Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
Publisher Bethesda Softworks and Developer Arkane Studios will be soon releasing its game Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider. earlier everyone thought that it was another DLC of Dishonored 2 but later it was revealed as a standalone game which will feature the death of outsider.
The game was announced at E3 2017 Los Angeles with a trailer which showed Billie Lurk fighting armed guards with his supernatural abilities and assassination skills. after rescuing Daud from the captivity she receives his next target The Outsider a mysterious supernatural man who has no existence in reality.
Many thought that just like Dishonored 2 players will get the option to choose their characters like you can either play as Daud or as Billie.
But it seems it’s not the case Bethesda has released a new video in which Harvey Smith the creative director of the game says that you can only play as Billie Lurk. in the video he explains the story, shows some small footage and new screenshot which players will find. you can check out the trailer below
The news made some of the fans a little upset. Steam user Goshmuz even started a petition on change.org requesting Arakne Studios to include Daud as playable characters.
Some heated debate also started on Death Of The Outsider Steam forums where some claimed that Arkane studio is pushing political agenda through it and some were ok with Billie being the only playable characters.
Well, propaganda or not Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider will be releasing on 15 September 2017 for PC, PS4, PS4 Pro and Xbox One and is priced at $29.99. for more information you can visit the Steam page or the Official Website.
