Developer Osmotic Studios and Publisher Suprise Attack will be returning with a new game titled Orwell: Ignorance Is Strength, it will be the second part or as the dev call it Season 2 of their game Orwell.
The game is inspired by the rise of fake news around the world in both social media and news channels. there is a high chance of a civil unrest within the nation because of political conflict between different groups across the country. you will be playing as a government official in Orwell which is a government security program to counter fake propaganda.
As an Official, you have access to all the information on any individual social media, communication and private files which no one else knows. you have to properly judge the information and details you get because your decision will have consequence it can either destroy the nation or save it from its despair.

Apart from trailer nothing more was released but as the game is a sequel to the original Orwell. it is possible that the gameplay will be similar to it.
The first Orwell agents were tasked to find terrorist organizations and stop it. players were able to search through any social posts, blogs, dating profile and news article. you can even access even access any individual chats, personal emails, hack into PCs of suspects and much more.
According to Steam Season, 2 will have an, even more, darker tone with additional tools like more control on the investigation and the ability to influence the public opinion.
