The Long Dark Finally Arrives To PC, PS4 And Xbox One
Developer and Publisher Hinterland Studio’s one of the most awaited game The Long Dark has now officially released for all major platforms. the game was first announced in 2013 and started with successful Kickstarter campaign with the initial funding they launched and an Alpha version on Steam Early Access.
For almost 3 years the devs have been listening to the community and have been fixing every major and minor glitches and bug. along with it, they were constantly making more improvement striving to deliver a polished game with best gameplay experiences.

The game is set in a post apocalyptic world hit by a geo magnetic storm which has killed every electrical source around the world. players will find themselves in the frozen wilderness of Canada cut off from the rest of the world trying to survive the cruel weather.
You will get no help from the game it will provide you information but will never guide you on how to get it. to make the survival experience more realistic the character will have a Condition and Calories system you need keep track of his hunger, thirst, fatigue and body coldness. every action will require calories.
The game comes with a Perma death which makes taking any decision tougher. you can die due to hypothermia, frostbite and even dysentery. you will be hunting for food and so will the other animals like Wolves, Bears and more.
According to devs, the open world will have a size of 50 square kilometers with dynamic day and night and wildlife. it has over 100 different items like clothes, light source, weapons, first aid and other tools.
The game will feature episodic story mode similar to Telltale games Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. currently, two episodes are known episode one “Do Not Go Gentle” and the second one “Luminance Fugue” the first and second episodes combined have nearly 15 hours of gameplay.
