Nintendo Switch Online App Now Available For Androids And Iphones
Nintendo has launched the Nintendo Switch Online Application before the official release date. the app is currently available for all users to download on their smartphones.
It will let switch owners voice chat with other players and also provide features one of them is the ability to invite friends from various social networks like Facebook, Whatsapp, and Twitter. it will also offer services like you watch the online match history and other game specific services like Splatoon 2 has a service which is known as Splatnet 2 which can be used to access ranking and other scores.
Currently, there is nothing much you can do with the App. if you try to log into the app it will show “server under maintenance”. it is probably because the App is officially set to release on 21 July 2017 along with Splatoon 2. so expect the app to functional by this Friday.
The service was announced by Nintendo to provide players with a service where they can communicate online but as the Switch does not have any inbuilt communication feature. the company decided to launch a separate app which can be used on smartphones.
Just like a radio to use the service you would need to have a headset connected to your smartphone. all the process seems like a bit too much work but as we have still not tried the service yet saying anything would be pointless.
Nintendo Switch Online Service will be free for now but it will become a paid service from 2018. below is the price of the subscription from next year.
- 1-Month Membership – $3.99
- 3-Month Membership – $7.99
- 12-Month Membership – $19.99
