Warframe Plains of Eidolon Update Adds Open World, Weapon Crafting And Fishing
At the recent Tennocon, 2017 event Developer and Publisher of Warframe Digital Extremes revealed a completely big new update which is very different considering the base of the game. the new called will be called Plains Of Eidolon and the content in it makes the game looks more like an MMO.
During the Tennocon event, a 17-minute long video was revealed which showcased some of the contents and features like open world exploring, completing quests and mini-missions, weapon crafting and a surprising but welcomed add-on Fishing.
The open world will have a town known as Cetus which is made from scratch, unlike the traditional procedurally generated map which the game is known for. inside Cetus, players will see a whole living town filled with NPCs from whom you can take quests or even visit different vendors to buy things you want. you can even seamlessly use Archwing and fly around the map.
One of the most interesting features of the update is weapon crafting players can collect or buy different components and build Ostron weapons from it. each component like the grip, strike, link and even the stance you use with the weapon will determine the crits and the damage type you can dish out with it. you would be also able to name your weapons but only once.
The map will be pretty big in size about 3kms square with day and night cycle. at a given time 50 players can be present in a town, at day players can hunt Grineer collect loot, gather other resources and upgrades weapons or stats. but night huge titan like creature will come out of the water to hunt Warframes and consume them. these monsters will require teamwork to take down.
You can play the game alone or form a four-man squad and embark on your adventure on Plains of Eidolon.
The New update of Warframe is certainly going to be game changing and has made both old and new players hyped for it.
No particular date for the release has been announced yet but it is expected to come out at the end of 2017. for more information, you can visit the official website.
