3 Times When Ubisoft CEO Teased About a New Splinter Cell Game
It’s been four years since the release of the last game of Ubisoft’s award-winning stealth game series Splinter Cell. it was expected that during the E3 2017 event Ubisoft will reveal a new sequel but sadly there was no mention of it during the conference. so question right now is can we expect the seventh game in the series?
According to CEO of Ubisoft, there is huge chance that a new Splinter Cell will release in future. there has been three Occasion till now when CEO Yves Guillemot has teased about the possible seventh iteration of the series.
First in a Live Youtube stream from E3 2017 the host Geoff Kleighley asked Yves if fans can expect to see another Splinter Cell in future to which he replied that all Clancy games are taken care of
“I can’t say much about that. But, for sure, all the Clancy games are taken care of. It’s just we have quite a lot on our plate at the moment.”
The statement might mean that a new Tom Clancy game will be a Splinter Cell Game. as the latest Clancy’s game was Ghost Recon and before that, it was Rainbow Six Siege.
The Second time he mentioned about the game was during an AMA at Reddit a user asked if he can tell anything about the Splinter Game in work? to which he replied that he can’t reveal much about the game but the development team is working on different things.
Splinter Cell is a brand we talk about a lot. It’s also personally one of my favorite series. We don’t have anything specific to share at the moment but teams are working on different things, so stay tuned for more.
For me, this statement pretty much confirms that Sam Fisher is on his way and this time we might get new features in the game.
Third Time was when Yves was interviewed by Ubisoft Blog where he again asked about any details or comment about the Splinter Cell game to which he replied
“What we can say is we are receiving a lot of sketches and proposals around the brand and we are going to pick one up,” then he tells the host Chris Watters “I think you will be able to see something, but you will have to wait for that.”

The Statement from Ubiblog does indicate that they might not have finalized a concept for the game yet. so it may be the reason why we did not see an announcement about it at the Ubisoft Conference in E3 2017.
Anyways I think it is safe to assume that a new sequel is coming our way and also there has been a rumour that Micheal Ironside might be returning to take on the role of Sam Fisher again. but this is just a rumour so take the information with a pinch of salt.
