Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Is Coming As Standalone On PS4
Developer Raven Software and Publisher Activision will be finally releasing the remastered version of the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare as a stand alone version. the game will be available both physically near your local retailers and Digitally on the PlayStation website.
The remastered edition will come with original campaign and 16 multiplayer maps with improved graphics and audio. the game will be releasing first on PS4 on 27 June 2017 that is the next week. it will also release for PC and Xbox but no official date has been announced yet.
Activision has further announced that there will be a special event in celebration of the release for five weeks it will have new maps, gears, and double XP.
In celebration of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launch, players will also be able to participate in the newest seasonal Call of Duty event called, Call of Duty “Days of Summer.” The five-week community celebration begins June 27th and will feature a bevy of in-game giveaways, XP events and new playlists across multiple titles, including a new summer-themed map for Modern Warfare Remastered that will be available through the duration of the event, along with much more to be announced on Tuesday.
The stand alone version will cost $39.99 and it does not include the variety maps pack. you would have to pay extra $14.99 to get those maps.
The 10-year-old remastered edition is not new it was originally released with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as a part of the Digital deluxe edition which included Call Of Duty: Infinite warfare, Season Pass and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for a cost of $100 without any option to buy the remastered edition separately.
