Spider-Man

Developer Insomniac Games and Publisher Sony upcoming game Spider-Man was one of the best reveals of E3 2017 and the gameplay demo was just amazing.

The Insomniac team as always have dropped some more information about the game regarding the gameplay experience which gamers can expect.

When asked if Spider-man will be able to run at Native 4K and what will be the FPS? to this, the team replied that it will be running on 4K via temporal injection and confirmed that it will run at 30 Frames per second.

For those who are wondering what is temporal Injection? it is a technique which is basically used to boost or hit much higher resolution than it would normally. previously the technique has been used for Ratchet and Clank for PS4 Pro which was also made by Insomniac.

Another fan asked if there would be an option for 1080P/60 FPS ? to which they replied that the option to run the game at 1080P/60 FPS is just not possible and they want the to only deliver the best user experience they can for PS4 and PS4 Pro.

This nothing new most of the Sony games always run at 30 Fps for their console. seems like they always put heavy emphasis on resolution than the technical aspect.

Finally, they also confirmed that the game first person view is situational and it is not the part of the main combat and also further confirmed that combat system goes deeper and is not like the quick time event sequence shown in the E3 gameplay demo

Other News on Spider-Man includes that the game will be released in 2018 which was confirmed by Shawn Layden, The President of Sony Interactive America.

Miles Morales who makes an appearance at the end of the trailer shown at E3 2017 will have a bigger role.

Insomniac Games Community Director James Stevenson also revealed that the size of the map will be 4 to 6 time larger than the map of Sunset Overdrive.

Spider-Man is expected to release in early 2018 exclusively for PS4. For more information, you can visit the Official website.
