Monolith: Shadow Of War Will Run at 4K On Xbox One X, Not Sure About PS4 Pro
Middle Earth Shadow of War is one the most anticipated title of 2017 the second iteration of the game will once again follow Talion and Elf spirit Celebrimbor against their fight with dark lord Sauron and his Nazgul forces. at the Xbox conferences at E3, the game was shown running on Microsoft’s latest console Xbox One X on 4K resolution and it was looked amazing.
According to an article posted by Wcctech in a recent chat with Monolith’s Design Director Bob Roberts, he confirmed that the game will be running at a Native 4K resolution on Xbox One X.
But the same cannot be guaranteed for the PS4 Pro. when asked about the availability of 4K on PS4 he answered that the team is still trying to optimize the game for PS4 Pro hardware and have not yet decided the final specs for the console. but he assured PS4 users that they will try to fit everything possible.
Further, when he was asked about what will be the FPS on the consoles he said they won’t be going for 60FPS as they are more focused on Graphic Details
We’re not shooting for 60FPS at the time, we are trying to milk more graphics out of it and just make sure it always stays above 30 smoothly.
Yet another case which displays the performance capabilities of Xbox One X and shows that it is superior to PS4 Pro in terms of raw power. most of the developers in the industry have already started liking it and soon after the launch consumers may too. seems like Sony needs to must step up their game before One X conquer the market.
