Xbox One X Will Support Virtual Reality – Xbox Head Phil Spencer
Microsoft’s latest console Xbox One X is the most awaited console of 2017 fans and game enthusiasts have been waiting for official announcement of the console and it happened at E3. during the conference at E3 the rumored Scorpio was revealed as Xbox One X it is Microsoft’s smallest console and the specs makes is more powerful than rival PS4 pro.
But there is a new confusion among people that Xbox One X will not support virtual reality. According to the report by WallStreetjournal Xbox’s marketing chief Nichols said in an interview with them that the console would not be supporting virtual reality.
And Nichols further added
“The opportunity on PC is larger, because the install base is larger and we think the customer experience will be better on PC,”
But later when Cnet covered this story Phil Spencer the head of Xbox told them that the Xbox One X will fully support virtual reality and they are committed to it.
So that eliminates the questions and confusion of Virtual Reality in One X at least for now.
Interestingly Microsoft has been pretty silent about the virtual reality. even in the conference at E3, there was no sign of it. they displayed various games which were running on Xbox One X at 4K or with enhanced graphics with the new super sampling technology. but there was no display of VR capabilities of it.
Considering the price $499 of One X which is $100 more than PS4 Pro is justified with the more powerful performance but eliminating Virtual reality feature from it will certainly be not welcomed by consumers.
