Code Vein Lets you Become an Anime Vampire

Developers and Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a new trailer for their upcoming action RPG game Code Vein which shows off a bit of story and gameplay.

The Characters in the trailers reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul and God Eater anime and the combat looked similar to Dark Souls the dodging and patiently waiting to attack. So basically we can think about it as an anime-styled Dark Souls at least for now.

According to the description, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where a mysterious incident has destroyed the world and is now longer a place for humans. Amidst all this a strange society of revenant called Vein rises. the revenants are the people who have been blessed with special abilities in exchange of their memories to survive in the new world. but this also makes them a bloody thirsty creature failing to control the urge would result in becoming a Ghoul losing any sort of humanity in them. you as a player take on the role of a revenant trying to recover his lost memories and escape the damned world.

Thing you can do in Code Vein

In the game, you can create your own characters and also choose a partner with whom you would fight against the enemies. you can even change your partner whenever you like each of your partners will have different abilities and combat style and even different background story.

The revenants have access to Blood Veil this power lets you drain the blood of your enemies to increase your strength and weaken your foes. you can also use the blood to enhance your weapon abilities and perform overpowered attacks. the game has a wide range of weapons such as bayonets, axes, and spears.
