Brace Yourself for Brainiac In Injustice 2

NetherRealms and Warner Bros have released the 5th part of the story trailer series Injustice 2 Shattered Alliances in which things are not looking good for the inhabitants of Earth as the Brainiac has arrived.

Brainiac introduces himself as the “Collector of World” by which he means miniaturizing a city for his collection and then destroying the rest of the planet. he did the same with the City of Kandor and then destroyed Superman’s home planet Krypton and now he has come to earth with his robot army in search of Superman to finish the last of the Kryptonians race.

The trailer also shows Superman out his Red Sun prison working together with Batman to stop the villains just like in Justice League. So are we seeing the return of the Justice League ? does Superman help in defending earth redeem himself of the countless killing and crimes he did under the name of peace? and what about Darkseid who is not yet mentioned in any of the shattered alliances trailers what role does he have?.

The story of Injustice 2 is getting intriguing with every new trailer but considering this was the final story trailer for the game. I guess to know the rest of the story we will have to wait for the game release.
