Starcraft Remastered announced for Summer 2017
Ahead of Starcraft Remastered release the Brood Wars will be free
After several numbers of rumor around Starcraft remake. Blizzard has finally confirmed the release of the most iconic esport game with Starcraft Remastered and it will come with a total overhaul of the game.
The building, units and the environment will have updated graphics supporting up to 4K HD with improved music. Even the interludes story of different heroes like Artanis, Fenix, Tassadar, Raynor, and Kerrigan will have an updated visuals. the StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void began story will return and you will be able to play the three different race Terran, Protoss, and Zerg with up to more than 50 new mission in the campaign.
Though the core gameplay of the Remastered Version will still remain same. it will be fast and seamless just like in the original version. chat channel will be present and you can throw down the gauntlet in chat to battle out with other online players.
It will be fully functional with the new Blizzard app launcher. The online feature of the game will have improved matchmaking so all player of different skills will be matched in a fair competitive match. all your saved settings like replays, campaign progress, keybinding and custom maps will be saved in a blizzard’s cloud system.
Though the Starcraft Remastered will not be free but according to blizzard, you can get the Starcraft Brood war for free after it is updated the best thing about this is you can play, watch and share the replays across both the remastered version and the free brood war version.
