Counter Strike: Global Offensive Gets New Map

Counter Strike: Global Offensive have announced a new map for the game. The map is named as “Canals” and is set on historic Italian city.

“The map is based on real-world environments that give each area its own architectural style as well as gameplay, and produce an unconventional layout. The CT side is composed of a large, wide open area while the T-controlled territory forms a crescent of smaller spaces around it and provides multiple approaches to each bomb site”.

According to the official counter Strike website, each Bombsite will require different tactics and weapons to take over. Bombsite A is more open and use of Smoke Grenades and long range weapons will be helpful. Bombsite B is set in more like closed quarter where short range weapons like Submachine gun and Short guns will be helpful

With a new map, they have also visually updated Phoenix Faction and announced a new Spectrum case.
