Prey 2107 is a First person shooter Psychological Sci-fi thriller being Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda softworks. Arkane Studios are also the creator of Dishonored series if you have played that you know how amazing Arkane Studios games are and get an idea of what to expect.

Some of you might remember a game with a similar title Prey developed by Human Head Studios and launched in 2006 which involved spacecraft and alien the new version has the same thing but in no way similar to the old one and according to the developer it is not even a sequel to the original it’s completely new.
Story
You take the role of protagonist Morgan Yu who is part of an experiment to improve the human race. at least that’s what are you made to believe.
you awaken aboard on a space station named Talos 1 in the year 2032 in a timeline that includes President Kennedy surviving his assassination attempt which leads to the development of space program and finally making of Talos 1.
Upon waking up from your slumber you realize everything is not right on the space station and the alien have taken control of the space station and now you must uncover the truth of what is happening and also survive from aliens hunting you.
Gameplay
As you take on role on Morgan Yu you can customize various aspects of the game. you can select the gender of your protagonist. You can craft any weapon as long as you have the right resources. You can even upgrade and acquire new superhuman abilities with the help of Neuromods.
Let’s take a look at what weapons and abilities you can see in game which we know of-
Weapons
Gloo cannon – in the game you will find a GLOO Cannon, which is one of the most important items in Prey. GLOO Cannon as the name suggest traps aliens in a gluey substance, it can also be used to create temporary pathways to reach new areas and also extinguish the fire or temporarily stop electric arcs or s so you can safely move past them.
Disruptor Gun – this weapon immobilizes both human and machine with a jolt of electricity especially useful when alien have possessed a human but you don’t want to kill them
Recycler Charge – Recycler charge when used on items like in room filled with office stuffs it destroys it and the component received from it can be used to craft a new weapon. it an also be used to clear an obstacle or just blow up the aliens
Other weapons in the game are Shotgun, silenced pistol, typhon lure, the Q-beam and even a wrench.
Abilities
Mimic Matter– in the latest gameplay released from Bethesda they showed us how cool this ability is its let you turn into a coffee mug to avoid the sticky situation and navigate by rolling and jumping in form of a mug and also lets you turn into a bullet raining machine. you can mimic up to 400 item in the game.
kinetic blast– kinetic ability is learned from the alien class called Phantoms. with this ability, u can push back anything dealing tons of damage. you can also use this ability to reach elevated areas
Psychoshock – this ability physically hurt aliens with a help of a shockwave which temporarily removes their special abilities.
Superthermal– it similar to a proximity mines but when activated it releases fire dealing damage to anything within its area.
Mindjack– mindjack is learned from the alien class called Telepaths, with this you can take control any human.
Lift Field – lift field is learned from alien class Poltergeist. morgan can use this ability to create a reverse gravity field that sends objects and enemies skyward. or just stand on any object and use it as an elevator.
Remote Manipulation – Morgan can use this ability by using his mind to lift heavy objects.
Leverage – this ability lets Morgan pick up heavy objects with his hand to clear obstacle or just squash the aliens
