Ataribox

Atari during the recent E3 2017 event gave the whole world a surprise by revealing a new console named Ataribox. a 22-second small teaser trailer was shown giving a glimpse of the upcoming modern console but the video didn’t give a full look of the body and neither listed any specification which will come with it.

After a rather brief time, Atari has finally decided to share some information about their new console. the details come from the Official Website in a newsletter email to fans who have subscribed to the newsletter service which revealed the looks and some details of the Console.

The Ataribox design does represent the old Atari consoles but in a modern way. it has it classic wood style on the front panel with indicator lights and an Atari logo and a whole ribbed body with a raised end which may be built by metal.

The rear part is raised possibly because the console has an SD Card Support, 4 USB Ports, and an HDMI slot. there will be two version of the console a black colour wood style on the front panel and another one with a black and red colour with modern day look.

Further more the newsletter states that the modern console will be equipped with modern specification and features and will be supporting both classic and current gaming content. so would that mean the Ataribox will be able to run all the upcoming games?  or only the modern games published by its own developers?

Nothing much has been detailed about the hardware of the console so it is hard to say what it can do but one thing is clear that the console does look better than most of the gaming stations in the market. the newsletter closed with the following statement
