Microsoft has finally unveiled their latest console at E3 which is named as Xbox One X. the console was formerly known as Project Scorpio and many game enthusiasts have been waiting to get more details and pricing about it.
At the conference, it was revealed that the Xbox One X will launch on 7 November 2017 and will cost $499 which is priced the same as the Xbox One when it was released in 2013 with the kinetic sensor.
It also cost a $100 more than its competitor the PS4 Pro but also packs more powerful hardware.
- Xbox One X has 6 Teraflops at 1172 MHz and PS4 Pro has 4.2 Teraflops at 911MHz.
- Xbox One X has 12GB DDR5 ram and PS4 Pro has 8GB DDR5 ram.
- Xbox One X has 2.3 GHz octa core and PS4 Pro has 2.1 GHz octa core.
Microsoft also announced that apart from being a powerful console it is also the smallest Xbox console ever made. though it doesn’t really has a distinctive design and looks like a slimmer Xbox One and I am guessing that it will only come in black matte colour.
One good thing about the latest One X is that is support all the previous peripherals from Xbox one and Xbox One S. also it has backward compatibility for games meaning all the games from your Xbox library will be playable on One X.
With the arrival of a new console comes the Exclusive Games war. Microsoft has announced that there will be 22 Xbox One Exclusive game which includes Sea Of thieves, Forza Motorsport 7 and Crackdown 3.
Xbox One X with its beastly specs will provide high 4K resolution with 60 Fps. its comes with super sampling technology which will provide 1080p quality graphics even if you don’t have a 4K monitor. it is also 40% faster than its competitors and is the first console ever to have a liquid cooling chamber to reduce overheating.
