Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung has finally joined Mineski as his new team. He will Captain a brand new team under the Filipino organization with the players that he will select for the international team.

Mushi’s Official Statement:

“I’m greatly honored to become the team captain for Mineski-Dota,” said Mushi. “After leaving Fnatic team, I received a call from Kenchi. He is one of the most respectable persons in the esports industry and is not just a friend of mine, but a mentor and brother to me. We both share the same vision for esports and with his sincerity, he managed to convince me to play under the wings of Mineski-Dota. Hence, we decided to work together to reform and put together a world class team.”

During his time in his former Team Fnatic, they couldn’t qualify for Boston Major despite having a promising squad after failing in Boston Major Qualifier things just went downhill from the team. After several attempts to make Fnatic better, the team went under roster changes, But the new squad too didn’t last long after failing to qualify for ESL One Genting. Mushi decided to leave the team.

Recently Mushi along with kYxY played as stand-ins for Team Mineski Malaysia to compete for a spot in Kiev Major but the couldn’t get past the qualifier. The main Mineski Squad played some their best games but lost the finals to TNC Gaming and finished third. currently, the main Mineski squad has also disbanded. The Current Filipino organization will now come under Mineski Malaysia CEO Yap “Kenchi” Chee Loong. who revealed that Mineski will now go International.

Kenchi’s Official Statement:

Reforming Mineski-Dota was one of my top priorities for the year 2017 aside from my cyber cafe business,” said Kenchi. “Having dealt with esports teams, I know that the biggest challenge is in finding the right player – not just for their skills but also for the right mentality. Mushi was the first player that came into my mind when I saw the news about him leaving Fnatic team. With Mushi’s experience and his versatility as a player, his addition to the Mineski-Dota team will definitely bring positive impact and exciting benefits.”
